Fischer, A Colour Compendium of Fruit Varieties. More than 300 fruit varieties are described and illustrated here, including apples, pears, quinces, sweet and sour cherries, plums, apricots, peaches and berry fruits. The range is much expanded by the inclusion of wild fruit varieties. New additions include the table grape varieties that are resistant to fungal diseases. The varieties presented include typical market varieties, varieties for scattered fruit trees in meadows, resistant varieties for organic cultivation, and varieties for fruit lovers, commercial growers, self-sufficiency enthusiasts and hobby gardeners.
